Veneers & smile design
Veneers are thin, natural-looking shells that change the shape, colour and alignment of your front teeth. With digital smile design you can preview the result before we begin.
What it is
A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain or composite bonded to the front of a tooth. It can close small gaps, cover chips and stains, and give worn or uneven teeth a harmonious shape.
Smile design means we plan the whole smile — not single teeth — taking your face, lips and bite into account, so the result looks like you.
How it works
Consultation
We talk about what you would like to change and check the health of teeth and gums.
Digital design
Photos and scans let us plan and show you a preview of your new smile.
Preparation
Teeth are gently prepared, often very minimally, and a temporary may be fitted.
Fitting
Final veneers are checked for shape, colour and bite, then bonded in place.

Questions patients ask
Will veneers look fake?
Not when they are designed for your face and shade. That is why we plan digitally and show you a preview first.
How long do veneers last?
With good care, porcelain veneers can last many years; composite veneers may need polishing or repair sooner.
Do I need whitening first?
Often yes, if you want the surrounding teeth lighter — veneers are matched to the final shade of your other teeth.
